Lupé-Cholet

Lupé-Cholet is based in Nuits-Saint-Georges. It was the creation of Alexandre de Mayol de Lupé and Félix de Cholet who founded the winery in 1903 which still bears their names today.
Bringing together tradition and modernity, Lupé-Cholet’s wines have the purpose of expressing their character from the soil they originate. Careful sorting of the grapes, light pressing, partial or total de-stemming, and cold maceration prior to fermentation are the techniques used to imprint Lupé-Cholet’s style on the wines – wines which are rich and complex, redolent of fruit, and which progressively reveal themselves at each stage in their evolution.
